Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Plan, install, and commission utility systems, process equipment, and cleanrooms in compliance with cGMP standards.
- Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgeting, tracking, and optimization.
- Develop and implement project timelines and allocate resources efficiently.
Technical Oversight:
- Supervise the installation, commissioning, and validation of process equipment (e.g., chillers, air compressors, water systems, boilers, HVAC systems).
- Review and approve P&ID designs for process and utility systems.
- Drive operational efficiency and implement energy-saving measures.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Lead DQ, IQ, OQ, and facility qualifications, ensuring regulatory readiness (e.g., USFDA, KFDA, TGA).
- Monitor and maintain cleanroom standards (ISO Class 8/5) for air velocity, pressure, and filtration.
Maintenance Planning:
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and ensure availability of critical spare parts.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Collaborate with QA, production, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide regular project updates and progress reports to senior management.
Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management:
- Enforce safety protocols during project execution and operations.
- Conduct HSE audits and risk assessments.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in project execution, installation, maintenance, and validation within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
- Proven expertise in managing Greenfield or Brownfield projects.
Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office.
- Hands-on experience with utility systems, air handling units, brine chillers, and cleanroom validation protocols.
Certifications (Preferred):
- NDT Level II (UT, RT, MT, PT) certifications.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
