Role Summary
We are seeking for an experienced Technical Project Manager – ERPNext to lead in-house digital transformation initiative for a pharma (API & Intermediate) manufacturing organisation. The consultant will work closely with the IT Head and drive the complete ERPNext implementation lifecycle—requirements gathering, process mapping, configuration, customization, validation, end-user training, and go-live support.
The role also involves mentoring the internal ERP team, ensuring compliance with pharma operational and regulatory requirements, and delivering a robust, scalable ERP environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end ERPNext implementation for pharma manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with the IT Head to build and mentor an internal ERP implementation team.
- Conduct requirement workshops with cross-functional departments and translate business processes into ERPNext workflows.
- Guide the team in module setup, configuration, and customization in line with approved processes.
- Oversee Frappe Framework custom developments, custom scripts, print formats, and reports.
- Prepare the UAT strategy, coordinate with end users for testing, defect tracking, and go-live readiness.
- Conduct end-user training sessions; provide structured documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer.
- Ensure ERP processes align with pharma regulatory guidelines (GMP, batch traceability, CoA, QA/QC workflows, audit trails, etc.).
- Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Provide post-go-live support and stabilization assistance.
Required Skills
- 4+ successful ERPNext full-cycle implementations, preferably in manufacturing or regulated industries.
- Strong hands-on skill with: ERPNext configuration & customizations, Frappe Framework (Python/JS), client scripts, server scripts, custom Doctypes, workflows.
- Solid understanding of: Pharma manufacturing workflows (BMR/BPR, batch operations, QC/QA, WIP tracking, RM/PM handling).
- Inventory & supply chain management in process manufacturing.
- Accounting fundamentals (mandatory for ERPNext posting logic).
- Proven experience managing multi-stakeholder technical projects.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to mentor internal teams and drive structured execution.
